Yu-Ying Huang's Ceramics Collection
This one is for my Lavender Fields collection of work. They are inspired past the beautiful lavender fields I saw in Provence, France during my vacation there in 2013. The glaze is to depict the scenery and mural of lavender fields.
Yuying Huang Ceramics – Lavander Fields drove
The purple and pink crystals intertwined together to create the look of the lavender flowers. The blueish glaze with white crystal effects depicts the heaven and clouds. The dark-green/yellow glazes are the copse/bushes/forests around the lavender fields. Some of the work accept golden luster dots on them every bit fireflies.
Yuying Huang Ceramics – Smoked fired collection
The unique feature of this mod collection of work is that all of the patterns are smoke-fired onto the work. They are polish in touch and have a subtle sheen besides, due to the burnishing in the process.
Yuying Huang Ceramics – Leaf Drove
The Leaf Collection of work uses a very unique and old technique traced back to China 1200+ years ago. You put a existent foliage on acme of the work, have it go through extreme loftier fire of 1300 degrees (Celsius), take the leaf melt into the glaze and become a natural art on the pottery.
